report from brain mri:A 5 mm area of mild enhancement centrally in the pons just to the left of the midline is consistent with a capillary telangiectasia. No associated parenchymal signal abnormality surrounding is seen. consider followup mri to assure stability over time.
report from thoracic spine:The canal is patent. The cord demonstrates normal size, position, and signal characteristics. There are no masses within the canal. There are small ventral extradual defects at T1-T2,T2-T3,T3-T4,T4-T5,T5-T6.The largest extradural defects are at T4-T5 and T5-T6, where there is a left paracentral component. These do not cause significant canal stenosis, sac stenosis, or neural foraminal stenosis. There is no cord compression.
report from lumbar spine:Ther is mild disc space narrowing with disc desiccation at L5-S1. remaining disc spaces are unremarkable. posterior elements are intact.Minimal bulging annulus at L5-S1 with no significant canal or neural foraminal stenosis.
I had a surgical fusion in 1997 of C5,C6 and C7.Now I have chronic pain in my neck with shooting/stabbing pain in the middle of my back.I have head pain not normal head aches.Sometimes I have temors that I can't stop.It hurts me to lift 5 pounds, sometimes I can't lift my purse. When I lay down my legs hurt at a number ten lever. The doctor says its just stress and arthritis but I feel like its more.I also have shoulder pain, chest pain, hands hurt, light-headedness,loss of urine, fatigue, and it seems like my memory and thoughts are impaired.I was also told that I have a leak in a heart value which is commom and nothing needs to be done about.I feel like my feelings are controlling my body and if anyone says anything negative to me I get worse what could it be that causes all this physical pain.please help me.I have had a mri of my spine from top to bottom and my brain. Could stress cause me to be disabled?

  • Look into TMJ, Porphyria, Anxiety Attacks, Meniere's Disease... Because you have Psych symptoms and physical pain in the chest, along with some other symptoms other patients with porphyria have... I do think you need to look into this possibility. If you have it you can be feeling much better by avoiding things that trigger your attack symptoms. Common porphyria triggers include :Alcohol, Cigarettes, certain medicines, some foods, spices, supplements and herbs, hormones like BC pills for some, sunlight for some folks/ porphyria There is no cure, but many porphyria folks can live a long time by avoiding the things that trigger their attacks. Take care. Oh, if you test positive. Be aware that Porphyria is often linked with other diseases including auto-immune diseases. http://www.porphyriafoundation.com/links.html Dangers of Candy:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxBcmtP7Ryc&feature=related hi,im new to this, but im also trying to find out whats wrong with me,i do have a lot of your symptoms, such as neck pain headache and associated problems LOOK INTO TMJ i have been diagnosed with the bottom two vertibrae fused togeather plus one area of mild foraminal stenosis another of moderate stenosis mild midline protrusion of the disc above the two fused vertibrae, and a indentation in the canal wall, now dont laugh;but when the pain across my shoulders and neck get realy bad, besides the violent headache which actualy gets realy painful;and chest pain which makes breathing hard work,i feel terribly ill, andsick,i have to take anti sickness pills, and lay down untill the feeling of illnesseases off,it does after a while, but not the general pain, now what i want to know is that normal, because i get realy worried;and i have no patience and get very snappy with people, sometimes i get a bit unsteady on my feet as well, hope someone can advise me birdkeith
