I've been to numerous doctors look over me....well two years ago in december i started feeling dizzy the room would spin and i would feel like i was going to throw-up and my mind was foggy, like i couldnt concentrate and i had to have people help me walk to my other classes somedays i was so dizzy and when i get nervous the room spins and my mouth goes dry and i have heat flashes and get very very anxious and i wanna throw up. i went to one doctor and she said i was dehydrated and i wasnt and my other doctor i went to my 9th grade year said i have panic attaks and that why i feel this way,but im not really sure if it is panic attacks,i've had blood-work and mri's and a catscan and it all came out clear and i wemnt to the ears, nose, throat specialist and he say he thinks i have menieres disease and he wants to send me to the nerologist now,but i still have got my appointment cause it takes a long time for our healthplan that we are on.And now im having my jaw popping and my ear hurting right before it pops and my neck like crackles and pops in my head not my actual neck but in my head on the left side it pops and feels better and my dizzness has been better but i still dont know what i have and how to make it go away forever, because i till get dizzness.....please help!:(

  • With your ear and jaw problems, it does sound like Meniere's disease, which refers to dizziness related to fluid in the ears (behind the eardrums). Sometimes allergies make this worse. Have you seen your doctor since you developed the ear pain and popping? He might be able to help you before you get to the specialist. Good Luck. Marionstar

  • Did the ENT give you a prescription for the vertigo (dizzy feeling)? I have vertigo and dizziness and my ears hurt and now I have a squeeking. My Dr gave me a prescription that helps me when the dizziness is really bad. I don't know if it's approved for kids though. You should have your mom ask about it though. Even if it is Meniere's, it will help you function a lot better.

  • Keely, I just wanted to mention that the popping in your TMJ does not nesseceraly have to be dangerous. Very many people have it. There is a little disc inside the joint that pops in and out of place. It should be treated only if you also have pain in the TMJ.

  • Dear Dizzy Lizzie,What was the medicine called?????It's prescription strength antivert, called Meclizine. If the antivert didn't help at all though, then it is probably not an inner ear problem caused by fluid retention. It could be an inner ear problem caused by blood flow or structural issues or it could be something else entirely which would not be helped by an antihistamine (antivert). When it happens, have you tried laying down and tilting your head around? There is something called Benign Proximal Positional Vertigo. Here's some information on it: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/vertigo/DS00534Hope that helps. Sorry you're dealing with this. I know how miserable it is first hand.

  • hang in there sweetie.. it sounds as if you do have Meniere's disease. Meiniere's disease is connected to the inner ear and does make one feel very dizzy.
