My name is Nicole and I hope I am posting correctly. If I am not please let me know. I am having severe abdominal pain and have been since late April. I was first diagnosed with an ulcer and when they finally did a scope they could not find it so they said that it must have healed itself. Then they completed a battery of tests on my gall bladder, liver and many other things and have not found anything wrong. I am still having abdominal pain. Many days its around a 8-10 level. I am not depressed or under anxiety. Well, now I have some level of moods swings because I have been sick for so long and have trouble sleeping that it is starting to affect me. I am now being sent down to the University of Michigan because my hometown cannot find anything wrong with me. My goal is just to be out of pain for a day and stay out of the hospital ER room. In the mean time, my doctor is prescribing some pain medications to get me by, along with protonix, carrafate??, hyomax. I have been having trouble going to the bathroom, gas, bloating, and most of all severe pain in my abdomin with nausea. Can anyone help me? Or do you have any ideas?
