I 've been to the Drs to no avail.I've seen a Rheumatoid Dr several times and i''m on a low dose of plaquenel.I have body aches, feels like a have the flu all the time and chronic fatigue.i have difficulty getting to sleep and staying asleep.I have inflammation in my hands and feet and my hands get stiff.I cant get out of bed in the mornings. I bruise horribly, the people i work with think I'm abused and I'm not.I have thinning hair and dry brittle nails and they have checked my thyroid.I do have mild anziety and depression. I just dont know what to do any more nothing helps but pain pills and I cant live like a zombie.I just need to know what is going on so i can get some meds to help, maybe.I do have inability to concentrate at times I draw blanks and forget allot.I'm only 43,i guess you could call it foggy. Please some one steer me in the right direction. Anyone have these symptoms... Thanks in advance shellie:(

Anyone have these symptoms... Thanks in advance shellie:(Have you had your Iron checked or been checked for Anemia? I have suffered from low iron on numerous occasions where I bruise easy and for long periods of time, often times looking like I am abused because the slightest little bump will leave bruises like you have never seen before. I have been on three doses of ferrous sulfate a day because me iron gets too low. When my iron is low, I am tired all the time and have difficulty concentrating. The iron also helped my fatigue. But before you add iron to your routine, please check with your doctor for the correct dose for you, (if in fact it is low iron causing your symptoms), Too much iron can cause other complications. If it is your iron, it will take a couple of weeks before you see any significant difference, but eventually you will and you will feel better too!! Good luck to you.

  • I think you should try getting a blood test to determine if you are deficient in Vitamin D. This can cause aches, pain, stiffness, fatigue etc. If you are deficient, then calcium is not being absorbed by your bones, and, thus, a wide variety of symptoms occur. This is especially dangerous because if you are not getting enough calcium then you are at risk for Osteoporosis. Whether or not this is the problem, it's good to know if you are getting enough Vitamin D and calcium. A simple blood test will tell you. Hope this helps.
