I get bruising on my forearms and upper chest area ONLY. It starts out with itching, I used to dig and dig where it itched but now i lightly brush my skin to make it go away, which it doesnt. Then the next day I have severe bruising in that spot that itched. No rash present ever when this happens.Never really painiful to touch bruises. Drs have no idea what the cause is.

I take paxil, daily vitamin, and calcium on a daily basis. I have tried to stop taking these pills one at a time to see if it is the cause, but it isnt. Dermatologist have no answers either. Blood work has been done but nothing shows up. Tested for von willebrands?? i think that is the name. nothing. The bruising gets so bad and awful looking that even thru the summer i did not show my upper chest when they were present. My forearms i wear make up to try and cover it. It does go away, but comes back. Not always in the same place. No pattern to frequency or area that it shows up. I dont get it anywhere else on my body.

Anyone else have these symptoms????? Or answers???? Please help!!
