my wife and i feel so lost the past 3 weeks with her. it all started with her just randomly vomiting out of the blue several times. we took her in and they said it was a stomach virus. all week she was very tired, pale and would not eat. then she started having severe stomach pains one night, we took her in again and they found a grapefruit size bowel obstruction of stool. we were told that was what was making her sick. they gave her a bunch of tests and gave her an enema and she was on her way. the next night it started all over again and for the 3rd time we had her in the er. they finally admitted her to another children's hospital for 3 days of no eating, tube in her stomach pumping laxatives. she is 100% cleaned out but still having weird issues to date. she won't eat alot, she gets very pale and drawn, very tired, dark circles under her eyes. she is very thirsty and just doesnt act normal. i mean she is pooping normal and not vomiting anymore. she does always have this horrid cough and we were told it was asthma. we are tired of going to the er and doctors offices, all we hear is it is functional constipation. i mean she always had large stools for her age and problems going but a grapefruit size blockage is not normal at 5 years old. my biggest concern is why as of today she does not act or look right anymore ? we are very concered and running out of answers, we need help. :(

a "normal" healthy child as they call her would not have to be on so many daily meds.

  • i have been researching online and i think she may have diabetes.Symptoms of High Blood Sugar• Excessive thirst• Extreme hunger/weakness• Extreme fatigue• Irritability• Itchy skin• Slow healing of cuts and bruises• Tingling/numbing in legs, feet, hands^ she has those symptoms and that would explain the yellowish pale look on her when she gets an attack i call it.
