I have had my Thryoid removed completely and i take Thryoxine replacement. I have recently been feeling Drained, tired and so sleepy. I struggle to wake up in the morning and also feel like i want to cry or break down. My weight has stayed roughly the same maybe a pound or 2 either way even though i have been eating healthy and having Salads.

I had a test to check my Throyid levels thinking they may be a little low however they came back over active. I have now had my dose reduced and the problems have become slightly worse.

I have been tested for liver and kidney functions and the standard tests however everything has come back clear except that i have a higher CPR level and that i have an inflammation somewhere. My white blood cell count is normal and there is nothing to indicate what might be the problem.

I did come of the injection last September (11 Months ago) and i am trying for a baby however a pregnancy test has come up negative.

Please can anyone advise of what might be the problem?

  • I feel you should visit a Nephrologist who would be a better person to advice you on this as I feel that your condition is not as simple as it looks. You are also trying to have a baby so you cannot take chances with any kind of advice but the best.
