My daughter is 8 years old and she started getting sick (fever, stomach ache and her ears hurt) Friday of last week I took her to the doctor, she seemed to feel little better temp. 99. he prescribed Amoxacillian said ears little red. Then he said she should get the Flu mist spray in her nose said no side effects anyways I agreed. Over the weekend she just slept still had little fever but she couldn't breathe through her nose she sounds horrible her face looks swollen with black under her eyes and she won't eat (almost nothing) Monday she got up wanted to go to school so i thought she must be feeling better, when she got home went right back to bed still she sounded stuffed not able to breathe through her nose she layed in bed moaning, crying light hurts her eyes just miserible. so today I take her to the doctor again she weighted 68 Friday today she was 61 the doctor doesn't seem to think it has anything to do with the Nasal Flu mist he says its most likely allergies so gave me another prescription for that except she doesn't have runny nose or congestion yet she can't breathe out her nose at all its like something has totally blocked her passage. so a few hours pass and now her throat is hurting and she has something on the back of her throat like a swollen gland with white stuff all around it. Could this be from that mist? she is sleeping now is this something that can wait for doctor in morning or an emergency for hospital? she doesn't seem to be in more discomfort than what shes been in for the last few days she's sleeping now. uugh any advice would be appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
