Hi for the past 3 weeks now I have been having tingling and weakness in my right arm that comes and goes and sometimes along with it my face tingles but the tingle is only in my cheek more towards my ear.. I am 27 years of age and female.. A month ago I had a cat scan with out contrast and nothing was found.. Am I having a stroke?? I went to my doctor and he didn't think it was anything to worry about.. Can anyone please help me on this matter.. Those are the only two symptoms I have... I don't get blurred vission or headaches or anything else that comes with a stroke.. I'm hoping it's nothing major and it also goes away with rest.
Thanks much Please Help

  • Not a stroke (in a stroke you usually get complete loss of feeling rather than tingling)- a stroke is where a bit of your brain gets destroyed by a blood clot or a bleed. Therefore you only get negative symptoms (unable to move my leg, unable to feel anything here, unable to find words etc.)A tingling would suggest either hyperventilation, or something directly affecting the nerve, like a viral illness or an autoimmune condition. The fact it affects several different areas suggests that it's either something big or nothing at all.The fact that you have no other symptoms and you've had it for 3 weeks without coming to harm suggests that it's harmless
