I am a 26 year old female with a problem that won't go away!! I noticed a lump (bulge) in my upper right abdominal area six months ago, my symptoms seem to be getting worse they include - abdominal pain, abdominal lump, nausea, abdominal swelling/ bloating, chronic diarrhea which is greasy with foul odor and pale yellow in color which turns the toilet water bright yellow, extreme flatulence, palpitations, weakness, very pale, feel full after eating OR drinking it almost feels as though the food has to come out as it does not belong in my stomach, and I have lost 9 lbs. this month....
I had the scope that went in my stomach and my doctor did a biopsy, she said and I do not have a hernia and the biopsy looked fine. I also had two hydoscans, and a ultrasound on my gallbladder. - Everything checked out fine. The doctor did say that she really didnt know what the lump was and that because of my age I should not worry about it being something too serious....
I come from an area where the health care is not the greatest so I am a little concerned with the fact that the doctors did not figure out what is going on with my body, expecially since my symptoms are getting worse as the days go by. If anyone has any clue as to what may be going on with my body please let me know. I appreciate any and all advice in this matter. Thank you!!!

  • I ABSOLUTELY agree with the above post. When digestive symptoms seem to have no cause, see your OB/GYN. Make the appointment ASAP. Tell the office you are having a problem that can't wait for your next regular check up, and don't let him/her dismiss your symptoms.

  • I agree, see your ob/gyn to rule out ovarian cancer. This is most likely NOT what is going on. 1 in 54 women get ovarian cancer which may sound like a lot, but when you consider 1 in 7 get breast cancer it is relatively rare. There are many more likely causes for your symptoms. Yellow, greasy, foul-smelling stool is excess fat which is some type of malabsorption disorder. Celiac disease could be the cause. This is an allergy to gluten. Try a gluten-free diet for a while, at least 30 days to see if your symptoms subside. Your gallbladder and pancreas need to be checked again by another larger facility since you said you live in an area without the best health care. Don't stop until you find the answer.
