Have had long term low blood pressure, intolerance to heat and cold, excessive sweating even when feeling cold, intolerance to humitidy, pain in right kidney area that never goes away and extreme fatigue. This has been going on for 30 years. Please all thoughts are welcomed at this point.

  • You may never know the real cause of your problems, because A.F., C.F.S., M.E., F.M., Lupus and many more all have similar start symptoms.http://www.drlam.com/articles/adrenal_fatigue.aspBasically if you follow the guide lines, mainly low GI diet and low stress, you may find an improvement in your health.I would say because it has been long term and your body will have adapted to what has become the normal, I would say follow the guide lines for at least 6 weeks. If after 6 weeks there is no noticeable change, then it is not going to help. One quick Caveat, you could feel worse before you feel better ! You will have to use your intellegence, basically the Dr Lam system shoud not do you or anyone any harm, but because it affects your bodies reactions, the bodies balance that has become routine, is upset (same as when you go on holiday and eat forign food, it upsets the system). So use your intellegence if there are any problems."Intollerance to humidity", does that mean in humid environemnts when you do exersion you can easily come down with a cold or a chest complaint ? Then it does sound more like the Dr Lam system will help.Notice, I have not said cure, but I presume if you could be 25% or 50% better you would be happy and also perhaps you will understand your problems better and perhaps find better results by doing something different. All the bestTerry

  • I've been told I have adrenal insufficency by one doctor and told no by another. Have had all tests you can think of. Low potassium levels, low blood pressure( 78/56) enlarged kidney that floats and is twisted but told this is not the problem. All hormone and other blood tests come back within limits and nothing else shows on MRI or CT. When seen by drs. only part of teh puzzle is looked at not all the pieces. Thanks for everyone's input. It all has value. Thank you.

It all has value. Thank you. This is exactly what I was saying, the sysmptoms are so vareied and frequently there are problems with tests (either levels or which tests shoudl be done to get the answers), also it is possible for you to twist the results to have the diagnosis of your choice and the cure would be similar (but possibly slower recovery). If you are a good healer (from cuts and such), also because you have to sit around waiting for tests (body has recovery time) and also test are very rarely done at the exact time relating to the bodies bio-chemical cycle, the results will accordingly be adjusted. Also you will have good days and bad days, and also if you have had a few bad days, then it will change the results for different reasons. Also if your pain tolerance has been improved, then there is suggestions that this also has a reuducing effect on the results. On most of the illness' (actually many are Syndromes) Doctors disagree on what is the best tests to establish the illness. The recovery A.F., C.F.S., M.E., F.M., Lupus and etc is suprisingly similar; but not identical, and many people are suprised at what they can achieve. So sometimes, instead of waiting for many months and multiple Doctor appointments, sometimes it is best take an educated guess, and take the actions that you think are best to help you to recover, so you could be recovered before the Doctors had completed all their tests, then when they have diagnosed you, you would still have to do the recovery process. You can do the tests and try what you think is the best recovery system, the slight problem is that the recovery system impoves all your readings, and thus makes it harder for the Doctor to diagnose (a bit of a catch 22 situation). The only comment is that if Health Insurance is involved then you need a Doctors diagnosis !I would say it is glandular, but the glands inter react, thus one pushes the other, hence the difficulty in identification. It does not appear that you have a near or total failure of a gland.Genrally speaking, if you have partial failure of a gland, the majority of poeple can live a satisfactory life.A simplistic view is that a gland or glands have been over used and "strained", and just as with "strained muscles", rest and proper care allows the body to revcover.I am not saying I am 100% right, but the above advice has helped many people, and most probably, when you sit down you will find you have many symptoms and more about them, only you will know how high they are and how they interreact etc.So you do need to use your intellegence which ever way you go.Good luckTerry
