I have been suffering from depressed mood, irritability, decreased patience, and mood swings ever since I can remember. Lately, my problems have worsened. Recently I have been experienced an increased difficulty in saying certain words. I don't have problems finding the words to say, I have a problem forming them. I also have increased feelings of hopelessness and have been withdrawing from others because I'm afraid that I won't be able to speak correctly. I also suffer from migraine headaches, with severe pain as well as occasional numbness of my face. Please help me! Thank you

  • Hello, have you been seen by a doctor for your migraines? I've had migraines most of my life and look to my doctor for ways to cope and relieve the pain. After many tests the doctors found that before my migraines I was having some sort of seizure activitly that not only caused my pain, but would also leave me sleepy, unable to concentrate and "find" the right words to use. I also would lose some vision in my left eye and having drooping of my eyelid. Maybe you should check into that possibility. As far as depression and hopelessness, I do know that chronic pain takes a toll on a person's mental well-being. Hope this helps--best wishes!
