Gasping, pain in ribs and chest (when gasping is really bad this pain doubles her over), after bad day her skin is slightly blotchy.
Diagnosed with asthma over a year ago when gasping first started (not bad, just small gasps here and there) but symptoms kept coming back and they would change her meds. gasping would just return in a day or two and kept getting worse.
Trip to urgent care one night when gasping and pain really bad ... checked blood oxygen....98%.....asthma??? really??? doctor notices her layrnx is spasming when gasping so sends her to ear nose and throat. they think allergies or acid reflux. allergy testing shows NO allergies and Nexium has no effect on gasping.
Just keeps getting worse and any physical activity makes worse.
Going back to doctor to see what next but would love any advice/ideas to help....
