Recently I have experienced a strained feeling in my eyes, it is hard to describe but doesn't really hurt but is a problem. Over the last two days I have seen a few black dots which last about half a second then go. About 6 weeks a go I saw flashing for about half a second as well while concentrating when playing a computer game, this hasn't happened since.

The strained feeling almost feels like something in my eye is pulling and it is worse with my contacts in.

I have recently played a lot of video games close up for hours on end as I'm injured and can't do much else at the moment.

I have also probably been over wearing my daily contact lenses, I haven't slept in them but left them in until late often, I have stopped this now.

Could this be a retinal tear or is it because play station and contact lenses. I will get it checked out soon but was wondering if anyone on here could help.

  • could be computer glare--better get a radiation screen if you're going to play by hours...you should get them checked out.
