Hi, My mother is 56years old. She has a problem from some last 10years. Sometimes she complains of a uncomforatble feeling in her stomach. It is like a ***k in the stomach after which she feels very tired and uncomfortable. She asks for water and there is pain in her legs. This lasts for some 3-4mins but the weakness is there for a much longer period say some 3-4 hours. It can happen at any time of the day. There is no fixed time, sometimes the frequency is 2-3 times in a day and at times 2-3 times in a week. It is random and unpredicatable. 1year back she had an attack of convulsion. There is no family history of epilepsy. She suddenly had a fit during which she passed urine. The same thing repeated few days back after some 18months. Are these two problems related? Please respond and help me to get to the roots of this problem.

  • Sounds like she might be having some epileptic seizures. More than two is an indicator of a neuro problem. Go see a neurologist.
