A few months ago I noticed a couple of very tiny, bright red pinpricks "under" my skin. Then more and more started to appear. They are so small (and my eyes are kind of bad because my glasses are old) that I can only see a few parts of myself closely enough to see if there are any, but so far I've only seen them on the upper and lower arms, my thighs, and one under my eye. They are all permanent spots, they do not come and go, and when I press on them with a glass they do not blanch or fade. None of them are bigger than a pinprick, most of them are fairly round, but a few of them are slightly irregular. There is no patterning or grouping that I can tell. They do not itch or hurt nor are they raised. The closest thing on the internet I can find would call them "petechiae" but I know that the petechiae you get from vomiting or coughing hard under your eyes go away after the trauma, and these seem to be permanent (at least, they last for the 3/4 months since I found them). I'm 21.
I was only able to talk to some kind of nurse and she kept insisting it was probably some kind of allergy and that I should just treat the itching (WHAT ITCH!? I said three times that it didn't itch or hurt). When I came home and researched it some more that sounds incredibly unlikely, also I haven't changed/used any new soaps or lotions or anything... and I don't use much of what I do use. I'm going to see a doctor in a few weeks (at least I think this one is a doctor) to see what they say, but I'd appreciate help from anyone with stuff to arm me with if the doctor tries to blow me off again.
Additional symptoms are vague, mild and probably unrelated.
