Pinched nerve or something

For about 3 days now, I get this shock in my inner elbow part of my arm, when I move it a certain way (full stretch of the shoulder and arm, usually). I have been under alot of mental stress for the past few months, starting to feel better, now this happens. I got pinched nerves before, but ones that didn't bother me as much. I have been using the computer alot more often the past 2 weeks, don't know if that's the cause. Or from tense muscles in my back/shoulder. Can't afford a doctor, so should I be worried? What can I do to fix this and, what is it exactly, a guess and any help would be appreciative. Thanks!

  • For the past three weeks I have also had elbow pain and it sounds very much like yours. It started when I started playing a very intense computer game that involved a lot of clicking.I am sure it is some sort of clickers elbow, rather like tennis elbow or housemaids knee.If I cut down on my computer use it gets better and I have been thinking of trying to use my left hand as it is very painful sometimes.I very much doubt if a dr can do much although they will suggest expensive treatments and possibly surgical intervention. As I said it was about three or four weeks ago it started up but it is slowly getting better on its own with gentle exercise and some massage.Hopefully this will be how things go for you too.:)

  • Thanks for the answer...I was thinking that too..but I am just not sure if it is due to stress and tense muscles either, any more input would be helpful. Thanks!
