In the last few months ive noticed ive been getting more pimples on skin around my genitals.. before i may have gotten like 1 every 6 months but now i get one on one side, and then it goes away and then i get another one on the other side. ive looked up herpes, which i dont think i have because there not blistering or scabbing over and i only get like one or 2 at a time and there always on opposite sides, and they only hurt like a pimple, no fever or trouble urinating and my b/f has never been in contact with someone who has herpes, and neither have i and i do shave but they dont look like ingrown hairs, and they all seem to be different size, also i do occasionally get some on my thighs, since being a woman my thighs do rub together when walking, but ive gotten those for years, even when i was not sexually active..i recently had an exam but my doctor said nothing,i also switched birth control pills, which i thought may be the cause.i went from marvelon to alesse, and i noticed a change in my period length, i went from a week long period to now about 3-4 days and its very light. I am going back to see my doctor but i would just like to know if anyone could help me for now and maybe give me peace of mind.thanks

  • Hi, I recently noticed i've been having the same problem. I asked my dr. about it and she said it happens, that they are pimples, not warts. And they appear because you sweat and so the pores get clogged, like they would on your face. Try to use baby powder and not too tight pants. Also, wear cotton panties and sweat pants when you can. Make sure your clean down there is all. hope this helps.
