I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I am having.
There is a white circular spot about 5 cm in diametre on my stomach where the pigmentation of the skin is gone (hence the whiteness) and the hairs have turned white. It's been this way for I'd say maybe a year or so now and I think the spot has grown slightly, but not much since there are hairs still with colour within the outer areas of the pale skin circle. It doesn't hurt or feel any different than other skin.
However, a note about the spot is that in the centre of is a spot where I have had in the past and have recently had what seems to be a reaction to the metal from the buckle of my belt. It would react by redding up and scarring. I stopped wearing the belt/covered the spot so it wouldn't touch and the reaction stopped.
There are no other white spots on my body that I can tell and considering that the area where the belt touched and reacted the most is in the centre I think there is a connection between the two.
Does anyone know what the problem is and if there is any solution?
