30 year old female pain and swelling in tail bone for the past 3 years.
diagnosed with degenerative disk diease now I have sharp pinhing pain (numbness is not to bad) in my left side of my tailbone areas that goes down my leg.hurts most when I sit or bend overor strech out my leg and it makes me feel like I have to pee pain meds don't help.
if any one could help it would be great.

  • Sounds like you need further testing to see what nerve or nerves may be involved.If the bladder is being affected, its more than sciatica.I would suggest you see a good ortho or pain management dr. There is a condition called caudia equina, a bundle of nerves that can cause some permanent damage if its not taken care of. www.spineuniverse has a lot of info. Take care~~JerseyLymie
