I suffer from photophobia or in other words cannot stand day or strong light without using strong polarised sunglasses. I have had this ever since I was diagnosed as suffering from macular degenation in my right eye three years ago. This was arrested with laser treatment. My left eye is OK except that I am afflicted by photophobia in both eyes. My eye specialist and surgeon can see no physical reason for this problem and says my left eye retina is in good condition. Any ideas?
