I'm a 15 year old male, I have currently been diagnosed with Hypertension, Hypothyroidism, and Tachycardia; Every test that they have taken is abnormal. I've gained about 50 pounds within the last year. Since then stretch marks have been forming on my arms, stomach, shoulders, and legs. I've had frequent visits to the Hospital for Hypertensive crisis. A recent Echo showed thickening of my heart (caused by hypertension); and a Stress Test pushed my Pulse to 350 bpm. My Liver enzyme count is extremely high, and my insulin count. I have an abnormally high Red blood Cell Count, and I often have severe chest pain.

Medications :

Mood Swings
Stretch Marks
Thin Skin
Muscle Spasms
High Cholesterol
High Triglycerides
High Liver Enzymes
High Insulin
High Red Blood Cell Count

My older brother who is 23 has the same symptoms but has had a Heart Tumor located in his Left Ventricle removed.

Any Help is appreciated,

  • Hi Andrew. Have you had any CT Scans or MRIs to rule out the possibility of a tumor? It's possible that you have one and it's causing all of your body's normal functioning to change. If your brother has the same symptoms tho, maybe its more of a genetic thing? Have you two had any kind of DNA tests?

  • Check out Cushings--this can be a result of a pheochromocytoma or a pituitary tumor or other causes.
