this is the first time Im writing here..
So I have realized some small sized red dots on my inner lower arm on last thursday, as well as on my hip on both sides on the next day. I was in the emergency room on sunday to check it out, all my blood counts and other tests were fine. By Sunday I had on my thigh as well as on the calves. Quite a lot actually, but really small ones. They are not itchy. The doctor said its petechia.
I was told in the hospital to see a hematologist and a cardiologist but on my paper I had contact details for an internal medicine doctor instead of a hematologist. I guess there's not much point to go to an internal medicine right? He would forward me to some place else anyway..
My question is, what doctor do you suggest me that I should go to? In how many days should the dots disappear if its nothing serious? Now its almost a week since the first ones...I never had any problems with my health before, no serious illness in my family either. Can it be caused by simply eating out of date food? I might have done that just before the first signs..
What else can it be?
I have a bit of a chest pain too but I think its not connected, I sit a lot on a chair daily, and its basically nothing on the weekends when Im not sitting.
thanks a lot if anyone could help,
