About 2 years ago, my father had a sudden heart attack which led him being in a persistent vegetative state.
he is now in a sleepwake cycle , breathes with the support of an oxygen tank at
times. however he does not respond to us calling him or no active movements. his body moves but
only like a reflexed action. Occasionally he suffers from.severe hiccups which could go on for more than 3
days straight. Can anybody tell me what are the causes the hiccups, the medications required. he is feeding using pegged
