I have a severe, after ejaculation my perianal area starts swelling up(abscess starts forming). I have been suffering from this for about 3 years now and I have been noticing it since then. doctors are not ready to accept that ejaculation and perianal abscess formation are in anyway related. But in my case that is the truth. Every one I meet just prescibe antibiotic no one is ready for any further analysis. I am totally dejected and confused as to what to do.Any help/suggestion will be greatly appretiated.

  • Your problem might be vascular. Are you sure it is an abscess and not venous congestion? Like internal varicose veins or a swelling. Sex causes a lot of blood directed to genital/anal area. If venous outflow is somehow hindered, sex can cause pelvic venous congestion. If you think that this could be the case, you need a venography (phlebography) of your genital veins all the way up to vena cava/left renal vein to check if the valves are working properly, or to exclude possible clot somewhere on the way of the outflow. This condition can also be seen in women, not long ago they were considered "of hysterical nature". lol. Could this be of some help? Good luck!
