I recently went to be tested for STD's and was told I had Genital Warts but no other Std's. I have been treating the Warts and they have now cleared up. The last couple of days i have had penile discharge, like a creamy colour and has been throughout the day. All symptoms lead to an STD but I was told I just had Genital Warts so I'm unsure what it could be, could this be connected to the treatment I've received for the warts?

  • Have them run the tests again since you have a discharge; maybe go to your county STD clinic for a full battery. Make sure you get checked for all of the other viruses, too, that require blood work.

  • The creamy colored discharge might be pus. Get checked for trichomonas. Also ..just to let you know..genital warts are caused by HPV (human papiloma virus) . Certain strains cause cancer in women. SO anyone you slept with should be notified. Some of these strains are very aggressive. (I read pap smears for a living..studied these things) Another bit of info...start wearing a condom. If you get herpes and give it to a woman who gets pregnant...that's an automatic C-section for her ..That's because the baby is in danger of aspirating the herpes into it's lungs..can be fatal to the baby. Crappy thing thing to do, to someone you love. (PS-ignore Blaze's comments...he must be getting a pay check form the Lymnet or a electro-maganetic company....because he tells EVERYONE they have these issues)

  • Thanks for the advise. I did forget to mention that I have a girlfriend and she also got tested - with nothing but genital warts... this is why it is confusing me. I had a urine and swab test and so did my girlfriend and the results came back clear.Could the results be wrong for both me and my gf?

  • Since you have a discharge, it makes sense to get re-checked. The tests don't cover all of the strains of stds, so you can have something, but it's not going to show up (I don't know why, but it happens). Hopefully, it will since you now have a discharge. Hope your girlfriend got them treated.
