Ok. This all started 4 months ago with a dull intermittent navel pain, (slightly to the right of my belly button.)
Then I was getting those cramps you get when you run, when I wasn't running.
Then the pain moved to my back right below my right rib cage. I thought it was my kidney so went to the ER, but no kidney stones and the doctor thought it might be ovarian cysts. (At this point I didn't have health insurance.)
About a week later I felt like I was being stabbed in the back with a big knife. The pain was just to the right of my spine, below my bra strap. And I had pelvic pain. (The pain is mostly on my right side of my pelvis, as well. But sometimes I'll get a quick cramping on my left.) I was incapacitated, on the couch, for a week. Then went to this free clinic and when they weighed me I had dropped 10 pounds! And I have always been the same weight no matter what I do. So dropping this much weight freaked me out. I had been eating normally despite my pain.
OH, btw, I am a female, 25 years old, 5'7" and normally 123 pounds.
Once I got health insurance I had pelvic, vaginal, abdominal and renal ultrasounds done and results were all normal. The gynecologist thought it might be Endometriosis and my primary doctor first thought it might be my gallbladder. But once again... all ultrasounds were normal. I also had blood work done to check my liver and pancreas functioning and those results were normal as well.
Here is a summary of my symptoms:
Intermittent pelvic pain (mostly on the right side)
Mid and Lower back pain
Bloating (when the pain is really bad)
Frequent urination (painless)
The pain seems to be related to my diet. Pizza, cake, fast food, etc. increase the pain.
If it were my gallbladder my pain would be epigastric (upper abdomen,) but no pain there.
