I have been passing blood in my stool for five days now and have gone to two different hospitals. Both places did a rectal exam and blood work, one of did a ct scan. Both places said there is no sign of blood according to the rectal exam but the ct scan shows inflammation in my intestines. So they said I have colitis and didn't tell me any more than that. I don't think that's what it is though. My brother had Crohn's disease so I think that might be what's wrong. I have other symptoms than just passing blood (it's a lot of blood too with clots and turns the water so red I can't see the bottom.) But I am also having severe stomach cramps, back pain, nausea, diarrhea, weakness, dizzy and really tired and drained I just can't understand why nothing is showing up on the test the run except for a little intestinal inflammation. If I am losing that much blood why isn't it showing up??? Every time I eat/drink I am doubled over with pain and not long after i eat i am sick to my stomach. I'm just really worried and confused. Any suggestions as to what may be going on would be greatly appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
