Ok, so all of sudden in my right eye I have lost at least 1/4 of my vision. Doctor did exam determined nothing physical was wrong with the eye. He did a visual field test which confirmed blindness. We did an MRI, doc thought I had optic nuritis, MRI came back normal. Opthomologist is stumped why I have blindness. The day before my MRI I developed a fever in the range of 99- 101. Fever reducers are not getting rid of the fever but does reduce a little bit. On day 5 of fever I saw an acute care doctor, physical exam showed nothing wrong, said was probably a virus and to get blood work done if not gone in 2 days. Day 7 of fever CBC done and another test not sure what is was. CBC came back "normal" but blood sugar low.(knew that had not eaten in 5 hours,) Told me to get appointment with PCP. Have appointment on two days and another visual field test.

Other symptoms I have had that started about a year ago. Could be related who knows
Bad short term memory
forgetting words for everyday items
shooting pain in extremities could last from 1 second to 1 hour
severe nausea{helped with zantac.
Uncle has Multple Sclerosis.

Anyone with any ideas. I truly believe it is MS but doc seems to have dismissed the idea because of the normal MRI.
Thanks for reading
