Has anyone out there suffered from pancreatc cancer or pancreatitis? I have severe back pain, am being worked up for a tumor, but without any help on symptoms so far...
I have incredible anxiety, particularly if I go without eating, although I am not hungry. Almost every pill I take gives me severe pain, so I have to quit taking them. Anti-anxiety meds put me to sleep and then I wake up in a panic. What do I do?
Yes, weight loss, depression, anxiety, etc. Thanks for reading. Marionstar

  • Hi friends, I'm still hoping someone will give me some answers...tyring to keep this post alive...MarionstarHi, I hate to mention this but my sister had pancreatic cancer and it wasn't diagnosed for almost a year, docs said she was depressed, etc.. The ONLY way they finally found it was after her INSISTENCE was to have an xray with her arms above her head, that way it raises the other organs and a radiologist can see the marks of a tumor. If it is caught soon enough ( go to Johns Hopkins, they are experts in this field ) they may possibly be able to do a whipple or ( double whipple ) surgery. DO NOT let the docs tell you there is no such thing as a double whipple - I had researched it and when talking to the Roanoke,VA docs.. they " hadn't heard such a thing ". Scary I know.. But, if you have not already.. Please ask for that xray. Good luck and I sincererly hope that is not the issue, but - Better be safe than sorry.
