help.
i have been to see my doctor who has reffered me to a psychiatrist, but i am not mad !!!
my symptoms-
stabbing pains, burnig pains, in head hands body. they can last seconds or longer and sometimes a few strke together.
anxiety so bad that i want to stab things to death, but havent yet.
constant hot flushes
stabbing pains in both eyes. vision problems, blurred and double vision.
stabbing pain in left ear
stabbing pains in face
both arms painful to lift, biceps painful, triceps painful to touch
pain in back of both hips
pain in left hip was so bad i couldnt walk, couldnt straighten left leg, screaming agony, in bed for a month, this seemed to be the first symptom.
pain in all joints, knees wrists fingers,
tingling in hands and feet, sometimes whole body.
bladder cramps urine leakage, frequent urination, sometimes up to 6 times at night
history of constipation and diarhea, bowel incontinence.
ery painful left foot, often cannot put my weight on it.
insomnia, all pain worse when i tired.
symptoms change from hour to hour. sometimes free of all symptoms. day or two.
poor apetite caused weight loss.
bad memory
poor concentration
dyslexia with words and numbers
i am female age 50 and a social worker with homeless people, i have not worked since april.
can you help me

  • Firstly.. make sure you have been checked for diabetes due to your frequent urination and it can cause neuropathy. I assume that would of been checked but make sure you have been diabetes tested (never just assume doctors have tested something). I think it sounds like fibromyalgia with its coexisting conditions Irritable bowel syndrome often coexists with fibromyalgia. There are 3 types of IBS...one is the constipation/diarhear varietyFibromyalgia can be extremely painful.Fibromyalgia can affect the memory and concentration too hence term "fibro fog" is common with the illness.Fibromyaligia can also present with "interstitial cystitis" So i suggest you reseach fibromyalgia, IBS and interstitial cystitis. They all go together in fibro.
