I am breastfeeding my four month old and have for the last three months had very painful, white sores on one nipple. I have also had mastitis on that side and have tingling, burning, and random sharp pain that seems to radiate throughout that breast. I can't seem to find any answers. I have been to dermatologist and he said it is not yeast. If anyone out there has had any experience with this I would appreciate your input. Thanks!

  • Sounds like yeast/thrush. Put monostat on it after each feeding. I had the same problem.
