THE INSIDE OF MY LEFT ANKLE STARTED OUT WITH A RED PIMPLE. IT BECAME LARGER IN DAYS AND GREW TO THE SIZE OF MY INDEX FINGER TIP. A INCH SECTION BELOW THE RED BUMP BECAME VERY RED, SWOLLEN AND PAINFUL. THESE AREAS LATER START TO TURN BLACK, THE ENTIRE ANKLE PLUS MY FOOT BECAME SWOLLEN AND PAINFUL. I HAVE HAD X-RAY, ULTRA SOUNDS, MRIs, MANY BLOOD TEST, CULTURES AND NOW A BIOPSY. WHEN THE LEG IS ELEVATED, THE SWELLING AND REDNESS START TO SUBSIDE. THIS CONDITION HAPPEN TO MY RIGHT ANKLE IN 2004 AND DISAPPEARED OVER A SEVERAL MONTH PERIOD ON ITS OWN WITH ELEVATING LEG AND REMAINING OFF THE LEG CONTINOUSLY FOR 3-4 WEEKS. CIRCULATION PROBLEMS, LUPUS, SARCADOSIS, INFECTIONS HAVE ALL BEEN RULED OUT. I SIT FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME AT A COMPUTER FOR MY JOB. I USUALLY WEAR PANT LINERS WHICH TEND TO BE BINDING AROUND THE ANKLES. DOES ANYONE
HAVE ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT IS CAUSING THIS PAINFUL CONDITION.
