Hello, I have a couple different symptoms that my family Dr. and Gynecologist do not seem to be helpful in helping me determine the cause. During penetration, when the penis hits my cervix I get a sharp shooting pain, and if I haven’t had sex in a while I bleed. I also think that I have interstitial cystitis because I get a pain in my lower stomach when I haven’t peed in a while and when the urine is more concentrated. The pain goes away shortly after I urinate, but urination itself is not painful.

I have a history of abnormal paps, but my last 3 have come back normal. I had biopsies done on my cervix 3 times. I have had 2 urinalysis done, both showing that I do not have a bladder infection. I do not and have never had any STIs and I get tested every year for them. My family Dr. and gynecologist seem to be putting both symptoms together and thinking I have endometriosis. I think they are going in the wrong direction. By the way, I am 23, in case that is helpful.

If anyone has any input into what they think is going on I will be grateful. Thanks!
