i am 20 year old male, and recently i have had pains in my stomach when i eat, now this happened about 2 to 3 weeks back and it never happened since, but last night it came back.
now i drink around 10 cans of coke again ( yeah i know its bad ) and i think this make be the problem behind my stomach pains, would you say it may be poor digestion and that i should definently stop the caffiene

  • Caffeine does cause digestion problems, especially if you drink that much per day. Carbonation also can aggravate stomach problems. I was just told this by my gastroenterologist when I told him that I drink a lot of soda every day. I would try to limit your caffeine intake and see if you still get the pains. I know it's hard, I'm addicted to the stuff. Also, try and take note if the pain happens to be right after your drinking the soda. If the pain continues I would get a CT scan of the abdomen. It could be a colon or gall bladder problem.Hope this helps!
