My 18 yr old daughter has been suffering for the past 7 years with chronic pain in her chest. She has been treated for chostocondritus the first 4 years with the light at the end of the tunnel being "she will out grow this".
After visiting with every kind of a doctor you can imagine it has now been 7 years, she has missed the last 2 years of high school, and she still has pain in her chest.
This pain intensifies with barametric pressure changes always much stronger in the Fall till Spring seasons. It has been a very bad winter for her.
She has been receiving injections in her chest, in the soft tissue between the ribs and sternum. These have not really seemed to do much good.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to How to combat the Barametric pressure changes?

When your child is walking the floor at night whimpering, one becomes a very Sad Dad

Please pray for Leslie

  • I have suffered from the same problems since I was 12. When i was 17 i was on course to have lots of different things done to try to find an answer to help stop the pain. I had nerve blocks done but they didn't help I was in touch witha doc who thought it could be something in my back but nothing definate so that is something to look into. Wishin you both the best.Lela
