fed up getting up every day with all these sypmtoms and no answers, would like a check for hernia or nerve related issue but it takes months to get refered,i have already paid out £1500 for private urology help with no results, just posting for a bit of help/advice.

  • sorry to say you should get a blood test for herpes 2...it can give you weird pains in that area and down your legs and you don't even need to break out...

  • Hi Alan, I am sorry to hear of your pain and discomfort in that area. Having had an epididymectomy in 1994 for a similar issue, and having had testicular pain for many years, I can sympathise. Did the urologist check your epididymis on both sides? Has he checked the blood vessels in the scrotum? While my surgery was for the left side, I am now in so much pain from the right side that I am considering having the entire lot out and get the urologist to make two pendulus implants (I'm 55 so I don't need the fluids). In 1984 I had a left varicosoelectomy due to varicose veins in the scrotum. This led to an anterior nodule on the left testicle that precipitated the epididymectomy in 1994. Now I can feel the intense pain in the right side and I dare not do a self-examination because it hurts too much.As to pain in the vas deferens I would ask a urologist's opinion - how do you know it is the "spermatic chord" and not the epididymis or vas deferens, or for that matter, a prostate problem?Best wishes, please keep us posted on how you are doing.
