Pain in right rib cage area

I was lifting my grandson a couple of weeks ago and felt a burning in the right breast rib cage area. I have read a few similar threads but none seem to relate to my pain. If I turn to the right and do not press hard in the area of pain, I get a really sharp pain that feels as though something is ripping. I can play golf and swing like heck and all seems well but the wrong sideways movement and all ***l breaks loose. What can it be?? A torn intracostal ligament??
