A few days ago I got a little headache, I took a tylenol PM and sleept for about 2 hours. When I woke up my headache was still there but not as bad. When I went back to sleep I woke up a few hours later and my head was throbbing, it was the worst pain. I couldn't really fall back to sleep I kept tossing and turning. When I finally got out of bed my headache was some what gone, I tried to eat something but got this incredible pain in my throat. I don't have a cold, its not like a sore throat its just this regular pain. Whenever I swallow its painful and I can't eat anything because it hurts too much. I haven't gone to a doctor yet, I just wanted to know if it could be anything serious.

  • I once had a little, for lack of a better word, pimple on my tonsil. My doctor said it was harmless and that sometimes a food bit will get entrapped in the skin and make a pimple thing and will go away on its own. I could feel it, but it wasn't painful...so I'm not sure if it could be the same thing. The headache stuff sounds like the whole bit could be strep throat though. Your doctor will probably run a throat culture as procedure anyhow (I know my GP was a little throat-culture-happy when I had swollen glands once, oysh.) Good luck!
