·As a child I always had problems with bowel movements. I remember it always painful and I would hold off using the bathroom for sometimes days. I still do this as a adult sometimes going up to four days before a bowel movement.
·At the age of around 15 I started smoking. I never was a heavy drinker.
·Around 1995 I was involved in a auto accident were the car I has driving hit a freeway wall at around 30-40 mph. I was wearing a seatbelt and the airbags did inflate. After I was checked I did not have any injuries due to the accident.
·Sometime a year later (1996) after intercourse I felt a mild pain towards my tail bone area. After 15 – 20 mins. the pain got worse. This lasted for about an hour when it went away. I been having this pain on and off from that day. Sometimes after intercourse, sometimes with no intercourse for months. I never been able to pin point when it will happen or what may bring it on it just happens. There has been months were I never get any pain while other months I will get this pain 2 – 3 times a week. Most of the time the pain was at night. It will wake me up with a mild pain to a very severe pain. This will last anywhere from 1-4 hours and it will seem to be gone and come back during that time. When the pain stops I will feel weak in my legs. Sometimes the pain gets so bad that I will start to feel I am going to black out. I get cold sweats but feel very warm. I have seen many doctors in the past in regards to this pain and been told many things. I was told that I have a weak back, my spine in not aliened, constipation, arthritis. I have had a MRI done and nothing was found. Many X-Rays were done as well.
·Around five years ago I started having pain in my upper abdomen. This was going on for a week before I went to an ER to find out what was going on. After a CAT scan and ultra sound I was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I had very high levels of glucose and triglycerides. The treatment was two weeks in a hospital (Elm Brook). I was giving PIC line and giving diloted IV for pain. There was a point where I was moved to IC for running a low blood pressure. At discharge I was put on a low fat high carb diet. I did not have any problems till about a year later when the pain came back. Once again my triglycerides were high and my doctor ordered an Endoscopy. I was then diagnosed with GERD and was prescribed Protonix that helped repair and relieve the problem.
·The problem with my tail bone area has been still there with everything that has happened and to this day. In the past I have been prescribed muscle relaxers that do not do anything but make me feel very weak. I have taking over the counter Advil, Aspirin, and just about every pain reliever. This never works. Some doctors will prescribe a pain killer like Hydrocodonie (Vicoden) 750 ES that will sometime take the edge off but makes me feel like crap the next day. I hate that as well. I been trying to figure out what is going on with everything. I have a new doctor that seem to be looking into other things. My reflexes are a little off in my feet he told me and I will need more testing to find out why that is. Also my triglycerides were high again and not sure why. I am not eating any fatty foods. Most soy based foods and I have cut meat but not fish. I eat very good fresh organic foods.. YEA $$$$$$ and still my triglycerides are high. I wonder if somehow this tail bone pain has something to do with that? DOCTORS have you read about anything like this??? What test should I ask for?? I want to be free of pain meds asap... Thank you...
