The pain and swelling (it looks like the glans is in a state of "constant erection" even when my ***** is flaccid) started about three months ago when I woke up one morning. (It might be linked to me mastrubating the previous night - although I wasn't especially rough.)

I went to a urologist who thought that it was balanitis (all std tests were negative) and recommended steroid and antifungal cream. It didn't help.

The pain has become much much much worse in the last week and I'm currently in constant pain (painkillers don't help much). Any thoughts? I'm starting to feel desperate...

My theory:

Blood vessels in the glans ***** was damaged causing the pain and swelling. (Although it should be noted that the ***** glans look normal apart from being swollen.)

Could it be similar to peyronie's disease? (i.e. is it peyronie's disease of the glans *****?)

Another question:

Is the tissue making up the glans ***** similar to the tunica albuginea, which envelope's the corpora cavernosa *****?
