Pain all my life

I am a 18 year old girl and I've had a lot of issues with health, culminating in the last several years. But there are two things that I have always had that I just want to know why. With all the symptoms and health issues going on, I just want everything to stop and be normal. I'll probably never completely get rid of all the symptoms, but it would help that maybe I could know what some of the symptoms go to.
All my life, I have had random pain in my body. One day it'll be in my arm, the next, my knee, and so on. It can be a dull ache to a sharp pain. One time it was so bad that I thought I broke my arm by doing nothing. I couldn't move it at all without feeling such severe pain. I ended up making a makeshift cast out of my shirt and after four or so hours the pain finally went down to a dull ache. It's annoying because it can happen at any time with any level of pain. I think it might be my bones, because the pain always comes from those areas: Knees, shoulders, hips, back, elbow, etc. I'm not sure what it is at all.
Secondly, going along with the previous paragraph, my ribs are extremely sensitive. I've never injured them at all, but for some reason, whenever I scratch my ribs or put to much pressure on them it is SEVERE agony. My ribs just feel like they are on fire and sometimes I have to just sit down and hold myself. I'm incompacitated. I can't itch there (but sometimes I forget), and I have to make sure that I put no pressure on my ribs.
So, there you have it. The two symptoms I have had all my life. Not the newer ones. I tried looking up the symptoms online, but nothing sounded like it. It was usually about 'cracked ribs'.
So, if there's anyone out there who has the same symptoms, please say so. I feel alone right now and like a weirdo. There's just too many things wrong.
Thanks for listening.

There are so many things that could be happening though so take a look online for the symptoms of fibromyalgia for one. One place to look for that is called fibrohugs.com and another good one is fmaware.org (National Fibromyalgia Association). There are actually a whole lot of symptoms that can come with fibro though but the main ones are pain, sleep problems, fatigue, and other symptoms/overlapping conditions like irritable bowel and bladder, headaches and migraines, restless legs syndrome (periodic limb movement disorder), impaired memory and concentration, skin sensitivities and rashes, dry eyes and mouth, anxiety, depression, ringing in the ears, dizziness, vision problems, Raynaud's Syndrome, neurological symptoms, and impaired coordination. One unique thing about fibromyalgia though is that there is no known test for a doctor to be able to tell if you do have fibromyalgia besides where the doctor applies pressure at different "tender points" on your body and you have to have at least 11 out of the 18 tender points to get a diagnosis. The best doctor for you to see is a Rheumatologist but there are those doctors out there that still don't believe that fibromyalgia exists although they are beginning to get the big picture that it does exist only now. Just please remember that you could have any number of things wrong with you and that it is really important that you go to a good and maybe younger doctor to find out if not several all depending on your finances/insurance type stuff available to you. I hope that helps a little bit and I hope that you find out exactly what is going on soon.

It looks like it started in yur ribs, and then perhaps due to another sickness you had, stopped. Its possible that its Junior something Arthritus, I forget the middle part but it starts with a R. I suggest looking under the list of symptoms for something that matches what your experiancing. And tell your doctor about this if you haent already.

You are not alone, and i too feel that this is just too many things going wrong!. But, i think it sounds to me like you may have some osteoarthritis (even though you are really young for this) and mostly i think you may have fibromyalgia, since i have just recently been diagnosed with that. It is a deep aching pain and is thought to be caused by overactive nerves. You may want to talk to a doctor and run those two diagnoses past him. I pray god blesses you with healing, you are way too young to be in so much pain. I will pray for you, and i pray you will believe in ****s for your healing and diagnosis.
