i am a 29 yr old that recently had a baby seven months ago. since my last child , that was a c section, i have been having lower abdominal pains and a lot of pressure in my back. i was fine as far as abdominal pain until i tried to start losing weight and began to do yoga. the back pain has been constant. i thought i may have pulled a muscle but im going on two weeks and the pressure and pain hasnt stopped. does anyone have any advice? i would seek doctors advice but cant afford any medical bills at this moment.

  • If back pain is just due to a bad back....carrying your child about is probably not helping things and may be making issue worst. (i know there isnt much you can do about it when a baby is that age but be maybe try to carry him/her about as little as you can.. nurse him/her on lap instead). If you've hurt your back.. this often takes much longer to heal than just a couple of weeks and a doctor will probably just tell you to take it easy till it improves. i know you say you cant afford a doctor.. but you probably should be seeing one with the additional issue of unknown abdominal pain. umm i just had a thought... constipation can cause back ache and abdomenal pain. Make sure you are having daily bowel motions and if not.. take some fibre supplements.

  • hi .. during the c section , d muscles of the pelvic floor will be stretched n you might have pain until the muscles come back to normal ... don worry , there`re few exercises to strengthen ur back after c section .. try consulting a physiotherapist or if tats not possible surf on web , m sure u`ll find a solution ...if nothing is possible, mail me at arjun4mb@gmail.com , il send u those exercises ... god bless :-)
