On Feb 21, 2006, I was at a restaraunt when I said I didn't feel good to my wife. My head dropped and off to the hosiptal I went where I was diagnosed with vertigo. The following days consisted of Family doctor, MRI, Neurologist, Lumbar puncture, Neuropsych tests etc...

Long story short, I do not remember the next 4 months or so at all and at some point during that time, my speech was impaired - I can't seem to find the right words, they won't come to me.

A year later, my Short Term memory is still impaired to the point that after the first couple of sentances of a story I am being read, I can not remember anything after that. My speech is very erratic as well.
Immediate memory is still superior (I took memory courses in the Navy) and I think this is messing up the Neuropsych evals. They see that I can remember the 3 words (apple, truth, mountain etc...) that they try and make you forget and then believe I am ok because I can remember those 3 words.

Diagnosis was TIA, but with no scarring on the MRI, the Neurologists are at a loss.

As someone who directed weekly VP meetings with a multi billion dollor company, I can not do my job anymore but am now stuck in disibility insurance red tape because there appaers to be no "dot" on my MRI.

In summation, I am about to lose my house, wife, and life because nobody can find a reason for my memory loss and speech issues.

If anyone has any ideas, please Please, help because I am out of options.
