In January, I had a hammer toe on my right foot operated on. I ended up getting an infection which turned out to be osteomyelitis and then MRSA. After weeks of hospitilization and finally a concoction of antibiotics, I finally got better. Now, 10 months, when I was putting on my sock on my left leg, I noticed a very painful localized spot on the inner side of my lower shin. I can't tell if there is a lump there as my shin feels bumpy in that area. My surgeon said that once you have MRSR or osteomyelitis, it can come back to haunt you in another part of the body. Any ideas? Thanks, ovationladyReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
