I have recently been diagnosed with an osteoid osteoma on T12 of my spine (after 2 years of steroid shots and pain meds for treatment of a "rib cartilage injury")...it is causing scoliosis and I will have to have it surgically removed and have my spine fused (they cannot do it with lasers because of how close the tumor is to my spinal cord)...if anyone has had this surgery can you please tell me what to expect...I am having a hard time finding information and any info I could get from people who have experienced this would be great...I am currently on a lot of pain medicine as prescribed by my doctor and I am wondering how long it took before becoming pain free after the surgery (I CANNOT wait to be off these meds)...Like I said any info would be great.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
