  • Have you tried removing sugar completely for two weeks from your diet? In addition to simultanious probiotic treatments? It sounds like to me, that the problem is not immunodeficiency and in fact can be related to a simple overgrowth of candida from excess sugar in our diet. Yeast is part of our normal flora (the microbial balance of good bacteria colonized in our GI system). It is a normal inhabitant of our bodies, however, the problem, as with any microbial adversary, is when the yeast are given the opportunistic conditions to thrive and multiply. These conditions will lead to an overgrowth of Candida and left untreated can in turn lead to presentation of thrush, as well as, many other unwelcome symptoms!!! You are correct in stating that this process can happen to immune compromised patients;; however, research has been done, proving that excessive amounts of sugar in our food, is causing overgrowth of Candida, leading to i.e thrush, GI distress/illness, fatigue, & many more sym
