For the past year i have been getting a UTI every like..3 months i get meds then im fine..but i recently got one and after i took a urine test, they did not find any bacteria and they had already gave me the meds and it worked. Kinda weird...how i didnt have the uti...but still had the pains and little blood. So i am goin to a specialist in a couple weeks. Anyone ever gone through this?

  • I have had this problem for about 3 years..I would go to the doctor and they would do a urinalysis and no bacteria is ever found. Not knowing what to do, they just give me antibiotics. I went to a urologist and he did the same ***n thing. So, I have really just learned to live with it. Avoiding caffeine, urinating before and after sexual activity, and increasing water intake all have helped me.
