I posted hubbys symptoms in another thread....but we have more tests back now and wanted to share what they found in hopes of having a clue what it all means..
he is 45 yrs old and has no history of any illness. migraines for 5 yrs with an onslaught of new symptoms in the last yr to 6 months.
constant headache that NO medication can touch, impotence, high blood pressure...cold blue feet, all over weakness...fatigue ... aching joints....breathlessness and rapid heart rate....plus a fungal rash on his side. and balance problems every now and then. (a newer symptom) oh and clubbing of the fingernails
all his bloodwork for autoimmune came back perfect
blood work is normal
except for low testosterone levels
urine shows high protein but no blood
CT scan showed generalized atrophy of the brain
we had an MRI w contrast and this is what it said:
Flair sequences and T2 weighted sequences show two or three focal areas of increased signal within the periventricular white matter to the right of the midline which are nonspecific. Differential possibilities would include subcortical infarcts.
The sagital images show encroachment of the cerebellar tonsils on the foramen magnum.
they want us to go to a neurosurgeon at this point but when is someone going to tell us what is happening?
we are terrified and get the feeling something isnt right.
