A few days ago I woke up with the back of my calfs feeling over stretched. I figured I had camped up while I was asleep and let it go. The next morning, same thing, but the calfs hurt. Ignored it again. This morning I was in excruciating pain. I did walk it off, and after walking, it did feel better.

If I keep moving, I have no problems. At rest I have no problems. If I get up - be in from sitting or driving, ouch!

If it hurts any worse than this morning tomorrow, I won't be able to walk at all....

I would think if I was getting cramps in my sleep, at least one of those nites I would have woke up.

before I start paying the HMO navigational game, I figure I should see if this is something some else has heard of....

  • One thing to try is making sure you are drinking enough water, plenty of it, for a few more days now. See if that helps. You've had this a few days, but few days isn't very long... Something bad to be mindful of, if it doesn't go away, is DVT, a blood clot.

  • Anemia can cause this. Have your blood tested for iron deficiency. Also, try here: http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/sprainsstrains/a/legcramp.htm
